Humidifier 4 L: everything you need to know

During cold winter months (or in the heat of the summer when your AC is on), you may notice that the air in your home is dry. Just like very humid air could be bad news for your health, dry air may cause nose and eye irritation in otherwise healthy people. One solution is to use a humidifier if the air in your home is too dry. But what about trying a 2-in-1 humidifier and diffuser? Let’s learn more together.

We want to make your life simple. Now using your humidifier and cleaning it requires no extra steps. Refilling has never been easier! Just pour water in the small insert at the top of the unit. To clean the humidifier, simply remove the lid and wipe the empty tank with a wet cloth.

Sleep Tight

As you are sound asleep, our humidifiers for bedrooms moisturize the room’s air at the 38dB noise level. The unit is as quiet as a ticking clock. It won’t disturb you while sleeping or working.

Ideal Humidifier for Baby Nurseries

Smart Aroma Ultrasonic Humidifier for Nursery

A soothing nightlight helps kids fall asleep. The unit offers ultimate baby safety by shutting down automatically if there’s no water in the tank. Another benefit of a humidifier especially in the nursery is the white noise it provides.  Not only will it help to drown out household noises like dogs, television, and kids playing, but it will also help the baby get a peaceful sleep. Plus, baby’s skin is sensitive to dry climates which can result in red patches and tender, chapped lips. The dry air may also aggravate common skin conditions, such as eczema. Using a humidifier helps the skin retain its natural moistness and stay soft and clear.

5 Signs You Need a Humidifier

If you’ve ever been where the weather is dry, cold, or both, then you’ll know just how harsh the effects of dry air can be. Setting up a humidifier is the best bet for improving indoor air quality and your breathing. So, do you need a humidifier?

Dry Skin

Dry Skin

Our bodies rely on the correct amount of water to feel good.  Dry conditions may pull moisture out leaving behind dry skin, chapped lips and so on.  Lips and eyes also show irritation when not properly hydrated. Skin requires plenty of moisture to maintain its health. If you’re using moisturizer regularly, but still find your skin feels itchy and dry, your home’s air could be too arid.

Bloody Noses

Nosebleeds are also a big issue because of dry air. Insufficient moisture and mucous levels in your nose leave blood vessels more susceptible to bleeding due to skin breakage. Random nosebleeds are often a sign of exposure to excessively dry air for extended periods.

Allergy and Asthma

Respratorical Problems such as Allergy and Asthma

Asthma affects 22 million Americans! Did you know that 6 million of these are children under age 18? The airways in a person with asthma are very sensitive. They  react to many “triggers.” Contact with these triggers causes asthma symptoms. The humidifier can help by adding humidity to help ease the symptoms of such diseases.

Static Electricity

Do you seem to get shocked every time you touch the metal door handles in your home? It could very well be a sign of low humidity in your home. Static electricity increases when the humidity levels drop. Think of how to dry hair behaves in the winter when you remove a hat or it rubs on your coat. That’s the same thing.

Pet Problems

Low humidity indoors can cause sneezing and skin problems for pets. Wheezing, sneezing, and extreme thirst are some signs the humidity is too low and needs to be remedied. The cool mist humidifier can help you and your pet to feel comfortable at home whatever the weather is outside.

The Best Humidifier for Your Home

Humidity lower than 30 percent may be uncomfortably dry, while levels higher than 50 percent can promote bacterial and mold growth and other problems in the home. Keep an eye on the humidity level at home and enjoy the fresh and clean air with our Top Fill Humidifier 4L. Now you can easily practice aromatherapy sessions and add moisture to the air at the same time. Boost your health and take a step towards a better life with Geniani.

I just got one as a gift and I love it! I somehow lost the manual with the holidays and being in the hospital. I need to do what the different colors mean orange, blue and what looks like black. Also I have been putting lavender oil in mine yet I can’t seem to smell it. (No I didn’t have covid19). Also can I get another pad for the oil or that part?
It helps with my allergies and asthma so I’d really like some help.
Thank you,
Donna

Need help with smart plug/Google Home device. I have the humidifier 4L top fill. It’s plugged into a smart plug for my Google Home. When it turns on, it immediately goes to the red light, pause, and the vapor does not come out. I have to manually press the button to turn it all the way on. Turning the humidifier off is not a problem. Any suggestions on how to bypass the red light/pause? Thanks.

How can I get more pads for the diffuser?

Robert February 15, 2021

Hi, is there a specific procedure to clean the base of the humidifier as well?

Nguyen Bui February 01, 2021

Lois, here is the shortlist of what you have to do to clean your water tank:
- Pick up the mist outlet cover and push the fastener at its back to open the mist outlet cover and top cover.
- Disconnect the filter in the water tank (press and pull up the springs at both sides of the filter).
- Lift up the water tank and remove the water cover subassembly by turning it counterclockwise.
- Rinse the detached components under tap water. After cleaning, reassemble the components in reverse order.
- The water cover subassembly must be installed in place.
- Add a small amount of vinegar or 5~10 drops of cleaning solution into the water tank.
- Then fill 1/4 of the water tank with water. Leave it for 5~10 min and then use a brush to clean the water tank.

Please, let us know if you would need more info!

How do I clean the humidifier?

Lois Whitehead January 21, 2021

Nancy, it’s normal as the water from the tank goes to the humidifier base where the transducer evaporates the water into the air.

Is it normal for water to be in the base of this humidifier? It seems to be working properly but concerned about the water that is sitting in the base. Please advise.

Nancy Cannon January 21, 2021

Lisa, we recommend washing the pad with warm water and mild soap before using a new scent. Unfortunately, we don’t sell pads separately at the moment. In case you need some, please let us know and we will send you a replacement.

How do I buy replacement pads for this product. I have the product already and absolutely love it, the only downside to it is that I use multiple essential oils and would like to know how I can get replacement pads.
