  We recommended  clean your cool mist humidifier at least once per week in case you use it once per day. Of course, everything depends on how often your room humidifier in use and other environmental factors.

How to clean my humidifier. Instruction

Rinse the filter

  After you unplug the humidifier, remove the filter. Hold it under the faucet and rinse it with cold water to wash away any impurities.
  Set it on a clean towel to dry while you clean the remaining parts.Tip for you: don’t use any chemicals to clean the filter.

 

 

 

 

Wash the water tank

  Remove the tank from the humidifier and pour out the old water. Fill the tank with 3 cups of vinegar, swish it around so that it covers the bottom and sides of the tank, and let it sit for at least 1 hour.
 Or fill the tank with water and add the tablespoon of bleach.  Replace the lid on the water tank and let sit approximately 30 minutes.

 

Wipe down the frame

It better to use a sponge dampened with vinegar and water to wipe the remaining parts of the humidifier.

 

  Please, be sure you clean and dry the unit before storing. It is very important in case you are going to store humidifier for any length of time. If you are using a humidifier after storing it for any length of time, thoroughly clean it before use.
